Clots and brain bleeds can often go undetected before it is too late. An Infrascanner device is now being trialled by London's Air Ambulance for head trauma incidents and boxer Nick Blackwell is calling for this to be used to review boxers prior to a fight.
If trauma to the head is caught sooner then this will help lead to early intervention. We are yet to see the benefits of the brain scanner and one can only hope that it proves to be a new breakthrough in the field of brain injury for the better!
