Associate Solicitor at Brethertons

About Me

I am an Associate solicitor in the Spinal Injuries team, which means that I act on behalf of customers who have suffered a spinal cord injury as a result of an accident or clinical negligence. My work involves meeting with customers, instructing and liaising with experts, attending conferences with barristers and experts and assessing liability and the financial aspects of a compensation claim. I am committed to ensuring that customers receive the highest levels of service and the best possible outcome from their claim, both in terms of securing early rehabilitation and ultimately being awarded the correct level of compensation. I completed my Law degree (LLB Hons) in 2001 after studying at Oxford Brookes University. I then went on to study for a post graduate certificate in Legal Practice, which I completed in 2007. I joined Stewarts Law as a paralegal in 2002 and trained in the Personal Injury department working on high value brain and spinal cord injury cases. Upon my qualification in 2007 I joined Irwin Mitchell working in the neurotrauma department running a case load of both Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims, involving brain and spinal cord injuries. I am a Member of the Law Society, and an Accredited Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). I am a former committee member of Headway North West London and Headway Milton Keynes. Away from the office, I am kept busy looking after my two young daughters but when time permits I also enjoy going to the theatre, running and losing myself in a good book.
