I am a paralegal in the Spinal Injuries team where I assist Jon Rees and Alison Goldney. We act on behalf of customers who have suffered a spinal cord injury as a result of an accident or clinical negligence.
I joined Brethertons in 2013 after completing my Law degree, in which I gained a first class LLB (Hons) qualification. I am currently completing the Legal Practice Course with the hope of becoming a solicitor in order to further support our customers in achieving the results they deserve.
My day-to-day work involves communicating with customers as part of case preparation by telephone and in person, managing medical records, expert appointments, documents and disclosure and drafting witness statements and the Schedule of Special Damage and Loss. The best part about my job is the real sense of satisfaction I get from providing support to customers through what can be a traumatic time in their lives.
Outside of work, I love to go travelling; a couple of my favourite places have been Mexico and Barcelona. In my spare time, I really enjoy reading, listening to good music and socialising with friends and family.
