Partner and Head of Wills, Trusts and Probate at Brethertons

About Me

I am the Partner and Head of the Wills, Trusts and Probate team, and assist customers who need to look at planning for the future using Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts and assist in dealing with Probate applications for customers. I also act as Court appointed Deputy assisting customers who have lost capacity and help them manage their day to day finances. I also assist customers whose family members may have lost capacity in making applications to the Court of Protection on their behalf for such things as making Wills, gifting assets or being appointed as a Deputy. I qualified as a solicitor in 2007, and have practiced as a Private Client lawyer since then. I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Solicitors for the elderly. I regularly present seminars for MENCAP, as well as other local organisations, webinars for the Law Society and I am a member of the Lexis Nexis Consultant Editorial Board consulting on the main issues in Private Client work facing our clients on a regular basis. I take real pride in knowing that I can make a difference to my customers and to help them to navigate the issues which they face on a day to day basis. I am an avid supporter of Leicester City Football Club and enjoy reading and socialising with friends.
